Switching of digital outputs when switching on the Drive PLC (elimination)

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC Software-Version 2.0) with
  • EPZ-10201 (Extension Board 1)
  • EPZ-10202 (Extension Board 2)
  • EPZ-10203 (Extension Board 3)

Fault correction:
Inrush peaks do not occur any more after mains connection.

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC Software-Version 1.4) with
  • EPZ-10201 (Extension Board 1)
  • EPZ-10202 (Extension Board 2)
  • EPZ-10203 (Extension Board 3)

Fault correction:
The error, i. e. the digital outputs of the terminal X1.5 and X1.6 of extension board 2 and the digital outputs X2.3 and X2.4 of extension board 3 being active for up to 5 ms after mains switching or reset, was corrected.

Unremedied function restriction:
Switching of up to 300 µs can still be observed at all digital outputs (also at the ones onboard on the Drive PLC).

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC Software Version 1.3) with
  • EPZ-10201 (Extension Board 1)
  • EPZ-10202 (Extension Board 2)
  • EPZ-10203 (Extension Board 3)

Reactions to this problem:
An unintended switching occurs at the digital outputs of the Drive PLC and in the Drive PLC of the attached extension board. The digital outputs of terminal X1.5 and X1.6 of extension board 2 and the digital outputs X2.3 and X2.4 at extension board 3 can be active for up to 5 ms. A switching of up to 300 µs can be observed at all other digital outputs (also at the ones onboard on the Drive PLC).

When does this problem occur?
The digital outputs switch directly after the Drive PLC is switched on or after the reset of the control when, for example, the 'mains-on' voltage threshold is fallen below.
