Innovation champion 2026: Lenze achieves top position in WirtschaftsWoche ranking

Aerzen, August 7, 2026. Lenze has secured first place in the latest WirtschaftsWoche ranking of Germany’s most innovative medium-sized companies. The award is based on a study conducted by the management consultancy Munich Strategy.

For the study, Munich Strategy analyzed 4,000 German companies. The evaluation considered factors including innovation vitality and innovation perception, investments in research and development, and selected financial performance indicators.

“For us, innovation is not an end in itself. It stems from our commitment to understanding our customers’ challenges and addressing them with practical solutions,” says Dr. Marc Wucherer, CEO of the Lenze Group. As part of the award, he spoke with WirtschaftsWoche about the company’s innovation strategy and the role of research and development in Lenze’s future growth.
