No connection to the optional fieldbus modules 'EtherCAT Slave' and 'PROFINET IO Device' (fixed from V1.15)
Fixed from: Controller c520 (from FW V01.15.0) Controller c550 (from FW V01.15.0) (Update via Easy Package Manager and firmware loader)
Behavior of the new version: All fieldbus modules are recognized as intended and the fieldbus function is given. Furthermore, separately supplied modules produced from 01/2026 are also recognized in all firmware versions (also < FW 1.15.0).
Description of the behavior: The plugged-in fieldbus modules
EtherCAT Slave (Mat-No. 13657829; type C5MAFT000000)
PROFINET IO Device (Mat.No. 13657828; type C5MAFR00000000)
are not recognized by the controller.
In the parameters
0x231F:001 (Module ID: Active module ID)
0x231F:002 (Module ID: Connected module ID)
the value "No fieldbus [48]" is displayed and the fieldbus does not work.
Conditions under which the behavior occurs: Only separately purchased fieldbus modules can exhibit this behavior. Modules that are already plugged into the controller on delivery do not. Only modules produced in the period between 10/2025 and 12/2025 are affected.
