Description
The CamDesigner Professional is a graphical tool which enables the comfortable creation of motion profiles for servo inverters with the 'Electronic cam profile generator' functionality:
• Easy creation of cam profiles by means of graphic objects (e. g. lines, polynomials).
• Input of the data in the physical unit.
• Automatic generation of connections according to the laws of motion (VDI 2143) by means of an expert system (jerk-free motions for protecting the mechanics).
• Display of speed, acceleration torque and jerk.
• Creation of value pairs (position, speed or acceleration) for the direct copy of the cams to Global Drive Control or as a file in a project for the 9300 ServoPLC.

• Microsoft® Windows® Me, Windows NT® 4.0 (as of Service Pack 5.0), Windows 2000 (as of Service Pack 2) or Windows XP
• IBM-compatible PC with Intel®Pentium®-90 processor or higher
• 64 MB RAM, 128 MB for Windows 2000 and Windows XP
• 120 MB free hard disk capacity
• Super VGA screen
• Pointer (mouse, trackball etc.)
• Free parallel ports/interfaces according to the requirements of the fieldbus interface modules to be used (e.g. USB port for EMF2177IB)
• Parallel port for dongle connection
• Installation of the CamDesigner Professional V2.x
Software installation
Proceed as follows in order to Install the update of the CamDesigner Professional from V2.x to V2.3:
1. Unpack the ZIP-file
CamDesignerProfessional_V23_Update.zip on your PC. The directory
CamDesignerProfessional_V23_Update will be logged containing the installation files.
2. If the CamDesigner is started, please close it.
3. Start the program
setup.exe from the extracted directory
CamDesignerProfessional_V23_Update and follow the installation instructions.
