Description The Drive PLC V1.x cannot detect, which extension board is plugged (see article 20010059).
By calling up the PLC program ExtensionCheck the user can integrate an additional monitoring function into his project. In the event of an exchange this may mean that an incorrect extension board or an incorrectly fitted extension board is detected. The reaction to detection of an incorrect extension board then has to be effected by the user program.
System requirements Installation of Global Drive PLC Developer Studio ≥V1.4.
Software installation • Install the monitoring function as follows:
1. Unpack the zip-file DrivePLC_V1x_ExtensionCheck.ZIP in any directory on your PC. 2. Copy the file LenzeDrivePlcExtension.lib in the directory [drive]:\Drive PLC Developer Studio 1.X\DrivePLCv10000. 3. Information how to integrate the monitoring into a DDS project, can be taken from the documentation ExtensionCheck.pdf.
