Encoder monitoring has now been made more robust to avoid erroneous response.
In particular, the inevitable ripple in the actual speed value is now better taken into account when switching between the two internally used evaluation methods. The ripple depends on the set number of encoder lines.
What happens?
The encoder monitoring responds incorrectly at standstill, with error message 0x7303.
Background:
The open-circuit monitoring for TTL encoders uses two different methods for detection, between which it switches depending on the current speed.
For encoders with a small number of encoder lines, the ripple of the determined speed is quite high due to the principle. Due to this ripple, it can happen that the switchover between the evaluation methods does not occur at the correct speed and the monitoring responds.
