L_MC1P_ManualJog and TM: 'Jogging' is continued incorrectly under certain conditions (corrected from V03.24.01)

Corrected from:
Library:  L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) from V03.24.01
              (Update via Package Manager)

Response of the new version:
Jogging is now correctly stopped when there is no longer a jog request (both ManualJog inputs xJogPos and xJogNeg = FALSE).

What happens?
L_MC1P_ManualJog:
Under certain switching conditions of the ManualJog inputs, the jogging function is continued although both inputs xJogPos and xJogNeg are set to FALSE.

When does the behaviour occur?
  • The ManualJog function is active (xJogPos = TRUE or xJogNeg = TRUE).
  • the active jog input is briefly set to FALSE and
  • is set to TRUE again during the delay phase for only one PLC cycle.
Which products are affected?
Library:  L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic  (FAST Motion)

Short-term measures / Evaluation / recommendations:
The behaviour described will most likely only occur reproducibly with automatic control of the jog inputs, because this is the only way to fulfil the switching conditions mentioned.
When using the jogging function for manual movement of the machine by the operator, the occurrence is not to be expected.
