Fixed as of:
i950 Extended Safety as of V01.03.05.00
Behavior of the new version:
The incorrect check of the Max value for object 0x287A:3 - Gear factor counter has been rolled back with the revision of the Safety FW.
Parameter set version V1.0, V1.1, V1.2 : Min value = 20; Max value := 65535
Parameter set version V1.3 : Min value = 1; Max value := 65535
Description of behavior:
With the release of the Safety-FW V01.03.03.00, the permissible value range for the object "0x287A:3 Load Encoder (ES) - Gear numerator" was extended.
Parameter set version V1.0, V1.1, V1.2 : Min value = 20; Max value = 50000
Parameter set version V1.3 : Min value = 1; Max value = 65535
By mistake, in Safety-FW V01.03.03.00 for parameter set versions < V1.3 the check of the input value was limited to max. 50000.
Under which conditions does the behavior occur?
The error pattern occurs with Safety-FW V01.03.03.00 if the parameter set version < V1.3 is used and if the value in index 0x287A:3 is > 50000.
As a result, the download is aborted when transferring the safety parameter set with the Easy Starter or Plc Designer.
The following message is displayed: "Failed to download parameter set to safety option device. Error: Device command 5 was aborted by the device. (Error number: 5022)"
The warning "Device: Safety parameter set - Plausibility error" with the ID 0x2A006390 is entered in the logbook of the device.
In addition, the value "7" Plausibility error is displayed in index 0x2115:001 Parameter set: status.
Affected products:
i950 Extended Safety Firmware V01.03.03.00
Short-term measures / evaluation / recommendations:
With Safety-FW V01.03.03.00 and a parameter set version < V1.3 the value range > 50000 cannot be used for index 0x287A:3.
If possible, use parameter set version V1.3.
