Test mode motor control (C00398): negative frequencies and start angles are not implemented (fixed as of V15.02.00)

Corrected from:
9400 Highline from firmware version V15.02.00.00
9400 Servo PLC from firmware version V09.02.00.00

Response of the new version:
As with 9400 with control cards Rev2, negative setpoints can now be implemented again for the test modes.

What happens?
With active 'Test mode motor control' :
  • C00398 = 1 (U-rotation test mode) or
  • C00398 = 2 (I-rotation test mode)
negative setpoints are set via parameters:
  • C00399:1 Frequency [Hz] for test mode and
  • C00399:2 Start angle [°] for test mode
are not implemented.

When does the behaviour occur?
Always when using the named test modes and specifying negative setpoints.

Negative setpoints are internally set to zero.

Which products are affected?
9400 Highline with a control card of the third revision (Rev3; C210/1 = 3x)
9400 Servo PLC with a control card of the third revision (Rev3; C210/1 = 3x)

Short-term measures:
None

Evaluation / recommendations:
The test modes are used as commissioning functions. Only the positive direction can now be tested here.
