MOL operating mode (0x6060=-13): CiA status word 0x6041 Bit12 not always correctly initialised (corrected from V01.06.04)

Corrected from:
Servo Inverter i950 FW: from V01.06.04.2154

Response of the new version:
When activating the MOL operating mode (0x6060=-13), the status bit CiA status word 0x6041 bit 12 is now correctly initialised, i.e. set to zero.

What happens?
The operating mode-specific status bit CiA status word 0x6041 bit 12 is not initialised correctly when the Mol operating mode is started.
The status bit retains its current state from the previous function.

Background:
The i950 servo inverter has two additional Lenze-specific operating modes in addition to the CiA operating modes:
  • 0x6060 = -12 (PLI)
  • 0x6060 = -13 (MOL)
The specific meaning of the status bit CiA status word 0x6041 bit 12 depends on the active operating mode.

When does the behaviour occur?
Use of the Mol operating mode (0x6060 = -13) and status bit 12 has been set by a previously used function.
This may have happened, for example, if a frequency ramp was used once before in MOL mode.

Which products are affected?
Servo Inverter i950 FW

Short-term measures / Evaluation / recommendations:
Do not use the status bit CiA status word 0x6041 bit 12.
