A sensorless manul jog function as additional CiA operation mode was implemented.
The function can be used in the form of the additional CiA operation mode 0x6060 = -13: Manual jog open loop.
The associated parameters are located in the base firmware in Index 0x2C67.
The function block L_MC1P_ManualJogOpenLoop has been added to the FAST library L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic from V03.20.00 as an interface to use this mode from the PLC application.
A PLC application of the i950 must contain the block L_MC1P_ManualJogOpenLoop in order to be able to control this manual jogging sensorless. The parameterisable technology applications do not contain this interface at present.
When using the i950 as a CiA actuator, the interface block can also be executed in the higher-level motion PLC.
With the drive mode 0x2825 = 2: Man. test mode c/f a manual mode could already be used with the previous versions for sensorless control of the direction of rotation.
However, the new function C6060 = -13 offers the advantage that the standard CiA mode does not have to be left in order to carry out sensorless manual operation. This operation can now be controlled directly from the motion software.
