Corrected from:
i950 servo inverter: HW:2A (hardware conversion for HMI2019 release in preparation)
firmware V01.02.03: 0x2820:22 = 100: No reduction
Response of the new version:
The voltage reduction function at the brake output (terminal X106) works, as expected.
After releasing the brake, the voltage at the brake output can be reduced via the setting under 0x2820:22.
What happens?
The voltage at the brake output (terminal X106) is not reduced as parameterised.
Regardless of the setting under 0x2820:22, the output voltage remains 100%.
Default settings of the parameter Holding brake control: Supply voltage of holding brake 0x2820:22:
- V01.01.03: 0x2820:22 = 75: Reduction to 75%
- from V01.02.03: 0x2820:22 = 100: No reduction
When does this behaviour occur?
i950 servo inverter: Hardware version <= HW:1A
Which products are affected?
i950 servo inverter (all devices until hardware conversion)
Short-term measures:
None, brake voltage reductions after brake release cannot be used. The voltage is internally limited to 100%.
Evaluation/recommendations:
The energy-saving effect with reduced voltage to keep the brake released cannot be used although suggested by the setting 0x2820:22 = 75.
The change of the default setting with the firmware conversion can be regarded as a compatibility restriction.
