L_MC1P - LM_ExtEncoder: Speed drop through position step change at the display range limit of the SSI encoder (corrected from V03.17.00)
Corrected from: Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) from V03.17.00.226 (update via Package Manager)
Response of the new version:
The position step change at the display range limit of the encoder is now always considered correctly so that there occur no more speed drops at this point.
What happens?
Sporadic speed drop correspondingly affecting the torque and sometimes noticeable as a 'cracking' noise.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when using absolute value encoders with a display area not not covering the full display range of 32-bit variables.
E.g. with SSI absolute value encoders with a display range of 4096 revolutions.
The position overflow at the display range limit thus occurs in between.
