Corrected from:
Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) V03.14.01.01
(update via Package Manager)
Response of the new version:
The cause of the described behaviour during actual-position calculation has been removed.
What happens?
The internal FAST Motion calculation of the 64-bit actual position is sporadically not correct.
An offset acting in the application like a home position shift occurs.
When does this behaviour occur?
The function restriction only concerns continuous applications in one direction operated beyond the display area limit of the 32-bit actual position of the i700.
The described behaviour only occurs if the 32-bit actual position of the i700 exactly has the incremental value 80000000.
Which products are affected?
Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion)
(contained in the PLC Designer)
Short-term measures:
None.
Evaluation/recommendations:
The probability of occurrence of the described behaviour is very low:
- The behaviour only occurs at the overflow point of the 32-bit actual position of the i700.
- At a speed of 3000 rpm, the 32-bit display area will only be exceeded about every 20 minutes.
- In this point, the 32-bit actual position must have exactly the value 80000000. With a position resolution of 2^16/rev, this will be the case with a probability of 1/65536.
