Function extension:
Two new monitoring functions have been implemented in the i700 servo inverter:
- Function for monitoring the system deviation of the position controller (following error)
0x2D51:6 Activation and setting of the response 'Fault' or 'Warning'
0x2D51:4 Tolerance in degrees
0x2D51:3 Trigger threshold
- Function for monitoring the system deviation of the speed controller
0x2D51:3 Activation and setting of the response 'Fault' or 'Warning'
0x2D51:1 Tolerance in rpm
0x2D51:2 Trigger threshold

Application:
The new monitoring functions are particularly designed for applications in which the i700 is operated under third-party controllers.
The monitoring function for monitoring the system deviation of the position controller can be used as following error monitoring.
The Lenze controller-based system (Lenze controller and FAST Motion software) already includes the following error monitoring function in the motion axis. The monitoring function can be easily selected via the corresponding dialogs in the engineering tools.
