Corrected from:
PLC Designer V3.12
ApplicationTemplate_PackML template
Response of the new version:
If the 'Create PackML User Mode' context-menu command is executed, the corresponding user mode is added to the created machine modules. User logic that has already been created in the machine modules will not be deleted when adding the corresponding user modes.
What happens?
Logic that has already been programmed in the machine modules is deleted.
When does this behaviour occur?
If the 'Create PackML User Mode' context-menu command (context menu of A12_PackML_Configuration) is used to create an additional user mode in a project based on the ApplicationTemplate_PackML template, the modes programmed in the machine modules are reset. I.e. the user logic of the blocks in the 'Modes' folder of all machine modules in the project is deleted.
Which products are affected?
PLC Designer from V3.10
ApplicationTemplate_PackML template
Short-term measures/recommendations:
Only use the 'Create PackML User Mode' context-menu command at the beginning of the configuration.
Evaluation:
3 modes (Producing, Maintenance, Manual) have already been pre-programmed in the ApplicationTemplate_PackML template. If additional modes are required, you can use the 'Create PackML User Mode' context-menu command to add the required modes to the machine modules that have already been created. Due to the above function restriction, the user logic that has already been created in the machine modules is deleted when adding the required modes.
