Incorrect home position in the ’SetRef‘ ref. mode and in automatic brake operation

Corrected from:
Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine and TopLine from firmware version 14.00.00.00

Response of the new version?
The C1227/2 home position is now also accepted correctly in reference mode 100 'SetRef' and when the controller is inhibited by automatic brake operation.

Which products are affected?
Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine and TopLine with a firmware version lower than 14.00.00.00

What happens?
By positioning processes with an absolute target value, incorrect target positions are approached, since the reference measuring system is loaded with incorrect position parameters instead of the home position.

When does the problem occur?
The error occurs if the holding brake in code C490 = 0 (no position feedback set) is set to automatic mode and the controller is inhibited while the holding brake is applied. In this case, setting bHomingStartStop in the "Homing" operating mode with homing mode 100 (reference setting) leads to the correct activation of the bits bHomePosDone = TRUE and bHomePosAvailable = TRUE. The error is that the home position (C1227/002) is not accepted in the setpoint and actual position. The setpoint position and actual position remain in their initial values, although the bHomePosAvailable status bit has been set.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
"SetRef" homing cannot be used when the controller has been inhibited by automatic brake operation.
Execute alternative homing via bHomingSetPos and apply the incremental home position to dnMotorRefOffset_p.

Evaluation:
Only concerns applications without a position feedback and use of automatic brake operation.
There is an unexpected offset between the machine measuring system and the MCK measuring system.
In maloperation, software limit positions are not taken into account correctly.
