Id7 error in the case of a parameter set changeover with a definable list

Corrected from:
Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine, HighLine, and TopLine from firmware version 14.00.00.00

Response of the new version?
An Id7 error does not occur anymore.

Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine, HighLine, and TopLine: 12.0x.00.00

What happens?

In the case of a parameter set changeover, a ' Motor control does not comply with motor data ' Id7 error is output.

When does the problem occur?

If the following conditions are all met at the same time:

  •  The controller is enabled.
  •  Via the definable parameter list of the LS_WriteParamList system block, motor data are shifted from an ASM to a SM. The parameters C087 rated motor speed, C089 rated motor frequency, and C006 motor control are key parameters here.

Diagnostics options?

If the monitoring function only responds if the change-over is carried out during controller enable and not if the controller is only re-enabled after the change-over, this indicates the response described.

Short-term measures/recommendations?

Change-over of the motor parameters should not be carried out via the definable parameter list, but via the motor data parameter list.

Or the controller must be inhibited during the change-over.

Evaluation:

The response typically occurs after an FW upgrade with inverters in the field, the application of which is based on a FW version < 12.x. The Id7 monitoring function as well as the motor data parameter list are function extensions from FW 12.x onwards. The Id7 monitoring function cannot be deactivated. As a remedy to this, the application must be modified.
