L_MC1P: Integrated speed signal of an encoder axis does not simulate the axis position (corrected from V3.12.0)

Corrected from:
- Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) V03.12.00.70
(contained in PLC Designer V03.12.00.177 and higher)

Response of the new version:
The integrated speed signal (lrActVelocity) corresponds to the actual position (lrActPosition).

What happens?
The actual position calculated by the external encoder by integrating the actual speed deviates from the real actual position (lrActPosition).
When does this behaviour occur?
  • External encoder, connected to the backplane bus via the EPM 602 terminal and import via LM_FreeEncoder,
  • actual position calculation in the application by integrating the actual speed (lrActVelocity).
Which products are affected?
- Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion)
  (contained in the PLC Designer)

Short-term measures:
Calculate the actual speed in the application by differentiating the actual position (lrActPosition).
