V/f emergency operation in case of open circuit of HTL encoder

Function extension:

In the case of an open circuit, V/f emergency operation (changeover to V/f control without encoder) can be used in the V/f + encoder control mode.

This function must be activated via C2864 bit11=1. C2864 bit11=1 freezes the information 'HTL encoder open circuit'. HTL encoder open circuit Sd3 will only be reset by trip reset or controller inhibit and only after this V/f emergency operation can be quit.

Please note that the open circuit of the HTL encoder (C495=1 or 2) is indirectly detected via the output frequency and the output current of the machine and will thus be detected with a delay. Accordingly, in the event of an open circuit and V/f with encoder, the output speed of the motor will initially rise and then fall again due to the V/f emergency operation.

Application:
All applications operated in the V/f + encoder mode that have to change to emergency operation without encoder if an open circuit occurs to ensure that the motor will continue operation at the same speed. Examples are conveyor belts that need to continuously convey material.
