L_MC1P: External position encoder and homing using touch probe leads to incorrect home position (corrected from V3.12.0)

Corrected from:
- Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) from  V03.12.00.70
(contained in PLC Designer from V03.12.00)

Response of the new version:
When using an external encoder, homing will be performed correctly. The external encoder is connected via the backplane bus of the controller.
In this case, the touch probe inputs of the controller cannot be used.
The touch probe evaluation must be configured as follows:
  • TP event:  'External source'
  • 'TriggerRef':  'Manual'
  • TP source:     FastInput (backplane bus) or "normal" digital input

What happens?
A homing run in which the touch-probe function is used leads to an incorrect home position.

When does this behaviour occur?
  • Position feedback via an external encoder connected via the backplane bus of the controller and
  • position control loop within the PLC application in the control system
Which products are affected?
- Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion)
                 (contained in the PLC Designer)

Short-term measures:
In the described constellation, you can only set the home position (MC_SetPosition FB).
