SW limit position monitoring does not respond in homing modes 10/11 + 12/13

Corrected from:

  • Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine V16.00.00
  • Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine V16.00.00

Response of the new version:

If, due to the parameterised home position, the current position is outside the software limit positions after homing, the limit position monitoring responds as expected.

What happens?

If, due to the parameterised home position, the current position is outside the software limit positions after homing, the limit position monitoring does not respond as expected.

When does this behaviour occur?

The behaviour occurs if homing is performed in homing mode 11/12 or 12/13 and the home position parameter setting in C1227/2 is implausible outside the traversing range.

Which products are affected?

  • Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine < V16.00.00
  • Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine < V16.00.00

Short-term measures:
Select a plausible home position in C1227/2.

Evaluation/recommendations:
The behaviour only occurs in the event of an implausible home position setting in C1227/2 outside the traversing range.
