L_MC4P_LimitDynamicsMainAxes: Limitations of axes A, B and C are not effective (corrected from V3.12.0)

Corrected from:
- Library: L_MC4P_RoboticHandling (FAST Motion) V03.12.00.85
(contained in PLC Designer V03.12.00.177 and higher)

Response of the new version:
Both the positioning axes (X, Y, Z) and the orientation axes (A, B, C) can be limited via the 'L_MC4P_LimitDynamicsMainAxes' FB.

What happens?
Only the positioning axes (X, Y, Z) can be limited via the 'L_MC4P_LimitDynamicsMainAxes' FB.
For the orientation axes (A, B, C), the limitation is not accepted.

When does this behaviour occur?
  • The behaviour occurs when using the 'L_MC4P_LimitDynamicsMainAxes' FB in a PLC application to limit the orientation axes (A, B, C).
Which products are affected?
- Library: L_MC4P_RoboticHandling (FAST Motion)
  (contained in the PLC Designer)

Short-term measures:
The orientation axes can be limited via the angular velocity, angular acceleration, and angular jerk settings of the path in the parameter set of the AxesGroup.
