L_MC4P_RobotikHandling: Path movement stops if blending radius is too large (corrected from V3.12.0)

Corrected from:
- Library:  L_MC4P_RoboticHandling  (FAST Motion)  as of V03.12.00.85
(contained in PLC Designer  as of V03.12.00.177)

Response of the new version:
The path movement doesn't stop between two points now, when the blending radius is set to a large value.

What happens?
When using MC_MoveLinear, MC_MoveCircular and MC_MoveDirect, the path movement stops between two points.

When does this behaviour occur?
  • a path segment, e.g. a straight line programmed by means of MC_MoveLinearAbsolut is smoothed on both sides (blending) and
  • the set blending radius is so large that there remains no more linear path movement between two rounding processes
Which products are affected?
- Library:  L_MC4P_RoboticHandling (FAST Motion)
  (contained in PLC Designer)

Short-term measures:
Select the blending radius on both sides smaller than half the path between two points.

Evaluation/recommendations:
Under "Short-term measures" you are informed how the behaviour can be avoided.
