L_MC1P: Homing modes with reversing process are not executed correctly (corrected from V3.10.0)

Corrected from:
- Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) V03.10.00.00
(contained in PLC Desginer V03.10.00.00 and higher)

Response of the new version:
The indicated homing modes work correctly.

What happens?
When using homing modes with reversing, reversing at the hardware limit switch or the reference tappet is not performed correctly.

When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs if the limit switch/tappet is overtravelled during braking, i.e. does not remain occupied over the whole braking distance.
This concerns e.g. the following homing modes:
  • CcwLimitSwitchCwTP
  • CwLimitSwitchCcwTP
  • CwRpCcwRnTP
  • CcwRpCwRnTP
  • CwRpCcwRn
  • CcwRpCwRn
  • Which products are affected?

    - Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion)
      (contained in the PLC Designer)

    Short-term measures:
Reduce the homing speed (--> shorter braking distance) or increase the switching range of the HW limit switch/tappet so that the HW limit switch/tappet can no longer be overtravelled.

    Evaluation/recommendations:
    A short-term remedy is available.
