Response of the new version:
After exiting and restarting a visualisation application on the p300 HMI, CAN communication will be built up again.
What happens?
The visualisation does not display any values of CAN devices connected via CAN to the p300 HMI.
When does this behaviour occur?
After exiting and restarting a visualisation application on the p300 HMI which accesses CAN devices via CAN bus, CAN communication is not built up again.
Which products are affected?
p300 HMI (without PLC) lower V3.9
Short-term measures:
Restart the p300 HMI to built up CAN communication again.
Evaluation/recommendations:
After exiting and restarting a visualisation application, CAN communication is not re-established. Under machine production conditions, the visualisation application is not completed. When switching the mains for the p300, CAN communication will be re-established.
