What happens?
The slave axis carries out unexpected movements. Software limit switches may be overtravelled.
When does this behaviour occur?
The above-described behaviour can occur if the MC_GearInPos function block of the SM3_Basic library is used to couple the slave axis to the master axis and the speed of the master axis changes significantly during the engagement phase.

Short-term measures/recommendations:
Only start the engagement process when the master axis moves at nearly constant speed.
Evaluation:
During the engagement process, high speed changes of the master axis will lead to unexpected movements of the slave axis or software limit switches may be overtravelled as a result.
