Position loss during start-up of the Ethercat bus (eliminated from V1.1.2)

Eliminated from:
Servo-Inverter i700 from V01.01.02.7826

Response of the new version?
The current position is irrespective of an EtherCAT state change or of mains switching of the i700.

What is the response?
After the i700 has been restarted, or after an EtherCAT state transition from 'Safe-operational' to 'Operational', the axis sporadically reports the position 0 degrees although the position was not 0 during switch-off or before the state change.

When does the problem occur?
The response described above may occur sporadically during an EtherCAT state change from 'Safe-operational' to 'Operational'.

Which products are affected?
Servo inverter i700  ≤ V01.01.01.7554

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Load a firmware >=V01.01.02 to the axis.
The firmware for the i700 servo inverter is provided by Lenze via the Lenze EASY Package Manager. In the PLC Designer, you can select one of the firmware versions installed via EASY Package Manager from the 'Firmware' tab of the servo inverter. After a project download to the controller, this firmware version is loaded to the servo inverter when the EtherCAT master is started; unless the firmware version has been loaded to the servo inverter before.
Please note:
The firmware is part of the controller boot project. When the controller is switched on, the firmware version contained in the boot project is loaded to the servo inverter. Therefore create a boot project in the controller after the project download.

Evaluation:
The position loss may result in a drift of the drive that is not displayed, which does not rule out machine damage. An update of the i700 firmware is highly recommended.
