Functional description
Up to 2 Touchprobe channels can be used at the same time. These two TouchProbe sources are available either as a zero pulse position encoder, dig. input DI7 or as DI8. The TouchProbe interface can be configured by means of fieldbus networking and index I-60BB. The TouchProbe status can be interrogated by means of index I-60B9. The pos. and neg Touchprobe signals can be reached by means of indices I-60BA, 60BB, 60BC and 60BD.
Applications
For positioning applications and referencing, the processing of Touchprobe signals is frequently necessary.
