Functional description
Encoder input X8 can now be used exactly as you wish in the application too (function block interconnection). The position of the connected encoder (as a 64-bit value), the encoder speed and an error status in the form of process signals can all be freely used in the application via the new system block LS_EncoderX8.
New codes are available in the range C2760 to C2765 for parameter setting.
Note:
You can use function block L_EsEncoderConv to convert the 64-bit encoder position into the applicable user measuring system and to restore positions after the mains power has been switched off.
This function can only be used in conjunction with memory module MM330 or higher.
