Table positioning - control bits are blocked if the specified profile is incorrect (remedied from V5.0 onwards)

Eliminated from:
HighLine with firmware version V05.01 or higher

Behaviour of the new version?
This function restriction is eliminated with the above-mentioned firmware version.

Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine with FW < 05.01

What happens?
If an incorrect profile number (0 or >15) or positioning mode (0 or >3) is selected, control bit transmission from the LS_MCKCtrlInterface system block to the LS_MotionControlKernel is blocked. So current positioning processes may not be stopped by e.g. the bPosStop control bit in the event of an error.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if an incorrect profile number or positioning mode is selected at the LS_MCKCtrlInterface system block.

Possible diagnostics?
The 8400 HighLine provides error message 'Ck11: Invalid operating mode', Ck12: Invalid profile number', or 'Ck13: MCKCtrlInterface FB' via code C0166/3. The user can define individual responses to these error messages. Set the error response to monitoring codes Ck11 - Ck13 from Warning (default setting) to Fault in codes C0595/11 to C0595/13 = 1.

Short-term measures / recommendations?
Ensure to select valid profile numbers / positioning modes only.

Evaluation:
This behaviour is usually detected during commissioning and can be avoided if the recommendations are followed.
