Operating mode V/f characteristic with retraction (VFCplus) - The Imax limit can be exceeded if there is a mechanical blockade (nact= 0 rpm) (remedied from V4.0 onwards)

Remedied from:
8400 StateLine  SW V4.00 onwards
8400 HighLine   SW V4.00 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.

Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine  SW ≤ V3.01
8400 HighLine   SW ≤ V2.01

What happens?
In the operating mode 'V/f characteristic control with retraction' (VFCplus) (L-C00006 = 6 or 9) with operation against a mechanical blockade (nact = 0 rpm), the device's set maximum current Imax (L-C00022) can be exceeded.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if the operating mode is 'V/f characteristic control with retraction' (VFCplus) and the motor is accelerated against a mechanical blocked (nact = 0 rpm), e.g. closed brake.

Possible diagnostics?
Compare current motor current (L-C00054) with set Imax limit (L-C00022)

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Adapt braking threshold or torque limit 'nTorqueMotLim_a' and 'nTorqueGenLim_a'

Evaluation:
This behaviour is usually noticed during commissioning.
