Eliminated function restriction
Using the 9400 controller system it is possible to synchronise the control programs of several controllers to a synchronisation signal (e.g. CAN Sync). After a project download the synchronisation was interrupted for a certain time. The duration of the interruption depended on the runtime of the project before the project download was started. Example: If the project had run three hours before the download was started, the synchronisation would not have been carried out for three hours after the download. Due to this function restriction the starting points of the applications of the individual controllers were able to shift in relation to each other, and thus synchronised transfer of process data could not be ensured. Controller synchronisation has been revised to ensure that the starting points of the applications of the individual controllers have been synchronised to each other providing isochronous transfer of process data such as the master position.
