What happens?
The position limit monitoring responds and triggers the FAIL QSP (P04, P05) fault response.
When does the problem occur?
If no homing has been performed (REF-OK = 0), if the actual position value has exceeded the position limits in terms of figures, and if the controller has been inhibited and the drive is moving (at a speed of > 3 % nmax).
Possible diagnostics?
The P04 or P05 fault response is triggered under the specified conditions.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Ensure that the drive does not move if it has been inhibited, e. g. by means of a holding brake. In hoists, ensure the correct setting of the brake logic to accept the load without the sagging of the drive.
Evaluation:
Virtually, the problems only occur during the commissioning when it might become necessary to traverse manually. In the absolute positioning mode (C1310 = 0), it is always necessary to perform a homing of the drive (REF-OK = 1) to be able to perform positioning.
