Function description
The 'Homing' function has been extended by modes 14 and 15. By using these modes it is possible to carry out a homing to a fixed stop (e. g. traversing range limit).
The maximum motor torque of the maximum possible motor torque MCTRL wMmax57 is set in % under C3008.
When reaching this maximum torque it is waited until the time parameterised in [ms] under C3009 has expired and afterwards the home position is set. As a result, the homing position is at the fixed stop inside the machine. This reference point can be shifted as usual by using the offset selections made under C3011 and C3012.
Applications
Carry out a homing procedure with a machine part by using the fixed stop available. Further home signals are not required.
