Touch probe synchronisation in function block DFSET

Application

Applications with master frequency coupling in master slave operation.
Basic configurations: 5000, 6000, 7000 (C0005)

Function description

Due to EMC influences the touch probe inputs (X5/E4, X5/E5) can response to interference signals in the signal cables. The touch probe function in the DFSET function block works unstable depending on the interferences.
In order to improve the reliability of the applications concerned additional codes have been added in the course of the software revision. These new coded enable an easier and more transparent handling.
The function extensions refer to the following codes.

C0551: Masking the touch probe signal (TP) for the actual value
The set value enables the creation of an incremental path/rotational angle between two successively expected touch probe signals at X5/E4, where incoming signal edges, e. g. interferences, are not evaluated.
The application of the function is analogous to the pre-existing code C0546 allowing an application of this function to the setpoint (X5/E5).

C0528/3: Display of the distance between two setpoint pulses in the increments.
The evaluation allows a suitable setting for the masking under C0546.

C0528/4: Display of the distance between two actual value pulses in the increments.
The evaluation allows a suitable setting for the masking under C0551.

The settings under codes C0546/C0551 determine for the touch probe setpoint / actual value after how many passed increments (after the divider factor) the controller accepts touch probe signals again. Thus, interference signals are masked.

Note

If under C0546/C0551 the values set are higher than the selection displayed under C0528/3 and -/4, the touch probe synchronisation will be deactivated.
