Compared with previous versions the dialog has been renamed from 'Drive selection' to 'acceleration dimensioning'. Moreover, we have changed this dialog for simplifying the handling:
In order to achieve a more practice-oriented entry of the drive data for the user the entry of mass moments of inertia can be divided into a motor-side part ('motor') and a load-side part ('output').
The two input fields for load inertia and motor inertia are directly located above the components 'motor' and 'output'.
Evaluation:
An extensively correct drive selection is not possible when using the Cam Designer Professional 2.2 since not all motor loads (active loads, static friction, dynamic friction, ...) are considered in this dialog. It is only possible to consider torques resulting from acceleration/deceleration (dynamics).
