Cancellation of SS1 stop time

Question:
Is it possible to cancel the running stop time of an SS1 or SS2, e.g. in order to release the movement more quickly in special operation after releasing the enable switch for a short time?

Answer:
It is not possible to cancel an SS1 directly by pressing the enable switch again. Depending on the parameterisation of the Extended Safety component, the entire parameterised stop time is waited for before a new release or the restart is possible as soon as the n=0 threshold has been fallen below for the first time.
• STO after stop time
o When the enable switch is released, the motor brakes to standstill along the QSP Application ramp (0x500A:48/49). After the stop time (0x2894:1) has elapsed, STO is activated and QSP Application is deactivated. If the enable switch is pressed again, STO is cancelled, and the motor can accelerate again.
o If the enable switch is pressed again while the stop time (0x2894:1) is still running, STO is activated for a short time at the end of the stop time (0x2894:1), the QSP Application is deactivated and STO is cancelled again. Then the motor can accelerate again.
• STO when n=0
o When the enable switch is released, the motor brakes to standstill along the QSP application ramp (0x500A:48/49). As soon as the n=0 threshold (0x287B:1) is undershot for the first time, STO is activated and QSP Application is deactivated. If the enable switch is pressed again, STO is cancelled, and the motor can accelerate again.
o If the enable switch is already pressed again while the stop time (0x2894:1) is still running, STO is activated for a short time when the n=0 threshold (0x287B:1) is undershot for the first time, the QSP Application is deactivated and STO is cancelled again. The motor can then accelerate again.
