Current controller adjustment, setting the current controller parameters (C0075, C0076), 9300 and ECS

Question:
Under which conditions is it necessary to set the current controller parameters (C0075, C0076) in the 9300 servo controllers and ECS servo system and how, if necessary, is the current controller adjustment carried out?

Answer:
In the 9300 and ECS drive controllers it is only in specific cased necessary and useful to set the current controller parameters (C0075, C0076). This is especially the case if third-party motors are used whose data are not included in the GDC motor data input assistant.
For Lenze motors the motor data input assistant set automatically the appropriate values. As a result, a current controller adjustment is not required.

The Application Report No. 100.17.5 'Adjusting current controllers in the 9300 servo controller and the ECS servo system' provides information about the following topics:
  • When is a current controller adjustment required?
  • How the current controller adjustment works
  • The current controller adjustment process
