Behavior of the new version:
After a HotConnect node is restarted, the Lenze controller loads the appropriate parameter set into that node.
Description of the behavior:
After an EtherCAT node is powered on, the Lenze controller does not transfer the necessary parameter set to that node.
Conditions under which the behavior occurs:
The behavior described above occurs when
- the EtherCAT node has been configured in a HotConnect group and
- this EtherCAT node is not in the primary HotConnect group, and
- once this EtherCAT node has been operational, it is subsequently restarted, e.g., by cycling the power. The restart resets the EtherCAT node’s parameters to their default values, and due to this functional limitation, the controller does not retransmit the parameter set.
