Corrected from:
i950 Servo-Inverter (from V2.1, in preparation)
Behavior of the new version:
When the SyncAndCorrection coupling is open and the drive is an EtherCAT slave, the virtual master instantly locks onto the selected external reference value via its coupling.
Description of the behavior:
The “InvalidSyncSlaveDirection” warning is issued several times per second.
Conditions under which the behavior occurs:
The VirtualMaster's clutch is not closed. The selected MasterValue is the Systembus. The VirtualMaster's allowed direction of rotation is positive. The velocity of the Systembus has so much noise, that the direction-of-rotation detection cannot clearly detect a standstill.
Affected products:
i950 with TA Sync And Correction (0x4000:0 = [41])
Short-term measure, recommendations, evaluation: Set the Allowed Direction of the Virtual Master to “both.”
Set the VirtualMaster's parameters to high values, if possible, to ensure fast engagement. Verify during operation that the SyncAndCorrection clutch is open during the VirtualMaster's synchronising process.
