i950: Firmware download via FoE (File over EtherCAT) possible (from V01.08.00)

Function extension:
The function for firmware updates via FoE is now available.

Included in the following products:
Servo inverter i950 FW:  from  V01.08.00

Application:
Using the i950 servo inverter in CbM topologies (controller-based motion) with EtherCAT motion controllers.

Prerequisites:

  • The i950 is already running firmware from V01.08.00
  • The MotionController supports this function.
Note:
The current Lenze Motion Controllers C430 and C5x0 only support this function for the i950 from controller FW V01.12.00 in conjunction with PLC-Designer V03.28.00.
The older Lenze controllers based on Windows CE do not support this function.
