Functions-Extension:

Server:
  • Up to 6 parallel connections to external (customer) clients
  • Methods and events (mapping necessary to apply)
  • Mapping for Companion Specifications (in first stage of development, the comfortable editor will follow) - therefore please ask for sales/support 
Client:
  • Up to 6 parallel client instances to address up to 6 external (customer) servers
  • Writing/reading of simple and complex data types (arrays; no structures)

General:

  • Diagnostics page in the PLC-Designer for OPC UA Server
  • Licensing: If more than one client and one server connection are required, then 150 Application Credits will be downloaded from the SD card.
  • The free OPC UA client software UA Expert (downloadable from the homepage of United Automations Downloads - Unified Automation (unified-automation.com is no longer counted as external client access and can therefore "always" be used for diagnostics.
