No change to the software is planned to adjust the behaviour, because switching to TA-User is not necessary in practice, see notes under short-term measures. 

 
What happens?
When switching the application to "TA User" (0x4000 = 10000), a timeout error message occurs under certain conditions.

When does the behaviour occur?
  • No user application is available / stored on the SD card yet and
  • it is switched to the application selection "TA User" (0x4000 = 10000), e.g. via the tab 'Settings' in the EasyStarter.

Servo Inverter i950 FW
 
Short-term measures / evaluation / recommendations:
In principle, it is not necessary to first switch to the "TA User" setting before loading a user application.
PLC Designer:
If an application/boot project is transferred to the i950, it is automatically switched to "TA User" (0x4000 = 10000).
Easy Application Loader:
If an application is transferred to the i950, the transferred parameter set already contains the correct TA selection.
