If an USB stick is remove "safely" via the Windows taskbar, the system will no longer recognize other USB sticks. The system must be restarted.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behavior occurs when the following is done:
- Connect any USB stick to one of the two USB ports of the Windows 10 IoT.
- The stick is recognized and integrated in the system.
- Safely remove the USB stick via the task bar (safely remove hardware and eject medium).
- Then remove the USB stick and reconnect again to the USB port.
- The USB stick will no longer recognized by the system.

Short-term measures:
Remove the USB stick safely using "Explorer". To do this, open Explorer, right-click on the USB drive and click on "Eject".
