Panel Controller p500 V3.18.1
Response of the new version:
No task runtime extensions occur.

What happens?
In individual cases there is a sporadic extension of the maximum task runtime compared to the previous firmware versions prior to V3.18.0. The task runtime can be observed in PLC Designer in Task Configuration --> Monitoring (Max. Cycle Time).

If a customer application is operated at the power limit of the devices, a set watchdog monitoring could be triggered sporadically.

When does the behaviour occur?
The behavior appears sporadically when using firmware V3.18.0 and is limited to it.

Which products are affected?
Controller 3200C nur V3.18.0
Panel Controller p500 nur V3.18.0

Short-term measures:
None.

Evaluation/Recommendations:
Through continuous intensive testing, an isolated anomaly of the 3200C and p500 devices has been detected. No anomalies from customer applications are known. Due to the still very low distribution level of FW 3.18.0, we have decided to publish a Service Pack V3.18.1 for it.
No controllers were manufactured and delivered with this firmware. The firmware was only distributed via the AKB (Application Knowledge Base) as a manual download.
Please make sure that all controllers that have already been updated to firmware V3.18.0 are upgraded to version V3.18.1.
