i950ES: Device description: Dependence of the safety parameter set on the device description of the basic device (corrected from V01.05.02)
Corrected from:
Servo-Inverter i950 FW: from V01.05.02.1788
Response of the new version:
In the constellation that the base unit-FW supports safety parameters, but these are not known to the safety firmware, the device now behaves as follows: - No error message when uploading the parameter set from the EASY Starter. - No safety parameter marked as unreadable (EASY Starter: red background), instead the default values are now returned for unknown parameters.
What happens?
When uploading the parameter set from the Easy Starter the following error message appears: "Error reading parameter xxxxx" and unknown parameters are marked as unreadable SOC parameters (EASY Starter: red background).
When does the behaviour occur?
The basic unit-FW supports safety parameters that are not known to the safety firmware.
When updating the software, always load the basic unit-FW and the safety version. Note which combinations of the SW versions are permitted.
The constellation described above can actually only occur if only the basic unit FC is erroneously updated to a newer version, but the existing SW version is retained in the safety module. Example:
GG firmware: Safety firmware: V01.03.07 V01.01.00 Safety parameter lists congruent V01.04.02 V01.01.00 New safety parameter 0x2115:008 is not known to the safety firmware
