Incorrect unit of display parameters C837/20+28 of L_PhaseIntK

Corrected from: 

  • Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine V16.00.00, in the Engineer ≥ V02.22
  • Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine V16.00.00, in the Engineer ≥ V02.22


Response of the new version:

In the dialog and in the parameter list, the unit of the display parameters C837/20 and C837/28 is displayed in [inc/ms] as expected.

What happens?

The unit of the display parameters of the phase difference input signal of the L_PhaseIntK_x blocks is not, as expected, displayed in [inc/ms] but in [rpm]. 

When does this behaviour occur?

The behaviour occurs in the parameter list and in the block dialogs in the Engineer.

Which products are affected?

  • Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine < V16.00.00, in the Engineer <V02.22
  • Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine < V16.00.00, in the Engineer <V02.22

 

Short-term measures:

The displayed value has the reference: 15000 rpm correspond to 16384 inc/ms.  

 

Evaluation/recommendations:

The incorrect unit display is misleading in diagnostics scenarios including the display parameters.
The block function is not influenced.
