Due to the new Lenze FAST license model, it is possible to use the same controller hardware for Logic and Motion applications. The license model is based on a points system, the "Application Credit". The required "Application Credit" depends on the Motion functions required in the application, i.e. pure Logic applications do not need any "Application Credit". For an unrestricted execution of the Motion functions, an SD licence card with sufficient "Application Credit" for the application must be plugged into the controller. The SD licence cards can be obtained from Lenze with different "Application Credit" amounts.
