Every machine module has an AppChannelData structure (ACD structure). The ACD structure is used for process data exchange between a slave machine module and the higher-level master machine module. To establish this connection (an ACD channel) between master and slave, the ACD structure of the slave must be introduced in the module applications of the master. The menu command "Create ACD Slave Access" from the context menu of the "A70_MachineModuleSources" folder in the device tree of the PLC project is used to create the ACD channels in accordance with the hierarchy defined in the MMT block ("A10_MachineModuleTree" folder).
